One Person Can’t Make a Difference?

That’s what folks say when they’ve already given up.
I’ve heard it my whole life—usually from someone who’d rather keep sitting still than stand for something.

Truth is, every big thing that ever changed started small. I built our first house from the bones of a house forgotten. It took years of hard work to get where we wanted. It wasn't the biggest house like they build today just under 1400 sq ft. But it was solid and we raised a family in it and always had a good garden out back. It was a gathering place for friends and neighbors and a good asset when we decided to pick up and move.A young couple bought it and began their journey and really improved what we had started. It made us proud to see it turn into something even we didn't imagine all those years ago.

You fix one board, one leak, one bad habit. Next thing you know, you’ve built something solid enough for someone else to stand on.

All it really takes in life to make a difference is putting in some work, planting a seed, cleaning up after others quit caring. You don’t need a crowd. You just need to start.

So yeah, one person can make a difference.
That’s how every difference ever got made.
